Biography
Born in New Jersey, Suzanne Collins has worked in children's television writing sense the 1990's. Before she began her career in writing for children's television she was a director of services for children with disabilities. In the 90's she worked on shows like Clarrisa Explains it All, Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, and penned multiple episodes for Little Bear and Oswald. In recent years she has broken up her days of overseeing the script writing for the Hunger Games Trilogy with being the Head Writer for Clifford's Puppy Days and free lance writer for Wow Wow Wubbzy, a popular cartoon for preschool age children.
Living in New York City for 16 years Collins focused her next project towards urban kids with her Gregor Chronicles which she followed up with her award winning Hunger Games trilogy.
